Public Call for Promoting the Installation of Photovoltaic Power Plants in Family Homes

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has announced a public call EnU-2/24 for promoting the installation of photovoltaic power plants in family homes.

Citizens who installed a power plant on their homes and received a permanent operation certificate between January 1st and December 29th, 2023, are eligible to apply for the public call to finance 50% of the installation costs. Only photovoltaic power plants installed and put into operation between January 1st, 2023, and December 29th, 2023, with an efficiency of at least 18% for the installed photovoltaic solar modules, are eligible for co-financing.

After that date, co-financing the use of renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic power plants, was available through the family home energy renovation program, with applications submitted in March 2024.

A new opportunity is also available for citizens who, for some reason, did not submit all the required documentation for last year’s call for co-financing photovoltaic power plants but meet the prescribed conditions.

This public call opened on November 4th, 2024.
