Get to Know Solar Energy: Green Energy Cooperative Lectures

The Green Energy Cooperative invites you to attend free informational lectures titled “The Easiest Way to a Solar Power Plant,” where you can learn how to reduce electricity bills by harnessing solar energy!

Over the past year, interest in solar power plants in households and businesses in Croatia has doubled. The reasons for this trend are clear – solar energy enables significant savings on electricity bills, up to 80% annually. The return on investment in a solar power plant can be expected within six to eight years, and solar panels guarantee maximum efficiency for at least 20 years. In addition to being financially rewarding, investing in a solar power plant provides protection against changes in the energy market and increases the value of the property on which it is installed.

• April 18, 2024 – Karlovac, starting at 7 p.m. at the Nikola Tesla Experience Center Karlovac (Rakovac 6)
• April 25, 2024 – Pula, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Italian Community of Pula (Carrarina Street 1)
• May 6, 2024 – Rijeka, starting at 6 p.m. at the Rijeka City Library (Matije Gupca 23)

In over three years of organizing free informational lectures on solar energy, the Green Energy Cooperative has informed over 15,000 citizens across Croatia about the benefits of solar power plants and encouraged them to use this renewable energy source.

The lecture “The Easiest Way to a Solar Power Plant” provides an opportunity to learn about the process of installing solar power plants, conditions, plant capacity, investment amount, saving opportunities, co-financing, equipment selection, certified installers, and the role of energy communities in the future of energy transition.

The lecture will be conducted by the expert team of the Green Energy Cooperative, including Alice Šebina, head of customer support for solar power plant implementation, and Svibor Jančić, community development specialist.
